Diane Kruger’s Chanel ensemble at the Parisian premiere of Forces Spéciales (which American audiences will know as Special Forces when it hits theaters on November 2) got forum members buzzing late last week. The head-to-toe black look was featured in Chanel’s Fall 2011 runway show, and though it’s definitely a design that wouldn’t flatter everyone, I think it’s safe to say that Diane isn’t someone who can be clumped with the masses. She has the ability to make almost anything look good.
“Only Diane can pull off these Chanel outfits,” kokobombon declared.
Newprincesita agreed posting, “That Chanel is quite busy… but she pulls it off, she makes it youthful.”
Dasrekshn wrote, “She looks so fierce! I love it from top to toe.”
HeatherAnne commented, “The urban Chanel Fall 2011 collection reminded me a lot of Berlin street-style, so it makes sense for the beautiful German to wear it – but then, she always manages to pull off Chanel effortlessly.”
This is another one of those “don’t try this if you’re not xyz” moments. Much in the same way that certain Balenciaga pieces only seem to work on Charlotte Gainsbourg, some Chanel outfits should only be attempted by Diane Kruger if they’re to be worn successfully.
