Karl Lagerfeld often gets flack from our feisty forum members for his photographic abilities. But it’s not Lagerfeld who’s getting the blame for Fendi’s unattractive Spring 2015 advertising campaign. The kaiser tapped Lindsey Wixson as the solo star of the fashion spots, having previously fronted Chanel’s Spring 2014 campaign alongside Sasha Luss. This time around, the designer captured Lindsey inside a high-rise building full of natural light as she poses in Fendi’s latest wares. But it was the hair, styled by Sam McKnight, that’s bothering the majority of our forum members.
Naturally, our forum members weren’t afraid to let loose. “Makeup, hair, pose, location is all wrong. It has ruined an amazing collection. Let’s hope the other shots make up for it a bit,” ranted gossiping.
“As much [as] I love Lindsey, this is really bad. The hair ruins everything,” thatsfierce added.
Forum member fiqary showed no enthusiasm toward the hair, either: “The hair is horrible. The hair alone makes everything look cheap and tacky.”
FelipeV even went so far as to say, “The hair makes her look like a 70s porn actress.” Ouch!
“Okay I think I’ll say the same thing as everyone, this hairstyle is not cool, and it doesn’t suit her. Lindsey has very recognizable and striking features, and they are not well used here. Even the makeup is wrong. On the first picture I really like the colors, light blue, baby pink and white. But well that’s the only thing I like,” credited Emmanuelle.
