Bella Hadid and G-Dragon ‘Look Like Vampires’ Posing Together on Vogue China’s Latest (Forum Buzz)

It’s official: Bella Hadid has become a force to be reckoned with at the newsstand. She just scored the cover of Vogue Japan‘s September cover (which is major, FYI) and is currently a cover girl for Harper’s Bazaar Australia. Over the weekend, yet another Bella cover has surfaced and it seems there’s just no stopping her lately. The current face of Calvin Klein stars on Vogue China’s baby sister title, Vogue Me, and is joined by South Korean rapper G-Dragon for the occasion, captured by Mario Testino.

The cover was sure to generate debate on our forums. “It’s terrible. They look like poor vampires,” cried out narcyza the moment the cover dropped.

“So true, LOL. This is the first time I’m not at all on board with a Bella Hadid cover. Testino really went overboard with the retouching, even eradicating those famous cheekbones. I’m even surprised that he shot for this odd little magazine,” Benn98 replied.

Also noticing the overuse of Photoshop was Bertrando3: “Soooooo heavily retouched and so gimmicky. It’s beyond me that Testino, who let’s be honest was amazing 10 or 15 years ago but now does overly-retouched photos that look just as bad as Annie Leibowitz’s!”

In agreement was GreyVetiver. “Bella looks plastic and unnatural. Just NO,” he pointed out.

Marsnoop2 wasn’t exactly thrilled with the outcome either, writing, “The worst she’s ever looked.”

“This is good, I like it, but would be so much better without this newspaper letters,” chimed in whitewine92.

ThatGuyPaul shortly declared, “She. is. a. supermodel.”

“She’s still way too far to become a supermodel… this is just her second year of hype in the high-fashion world, not even enough to say ‘well established’; still, it seems she’s on a roll in Asia this month, Vogue Japan and now this hideous cover. That pop power thing kills me… makes the whole thing look like TV Guide,” Legolas stated.
