Yes, black is back…but that doesn’t mean color is out. In an extreme opposition to the neutrals and monochromatic moody tones we’ve been seeing recently, color is coming back into the playground – and not in shades of sweet, timid pastels. A little color shy? Try adding a small colorful accessory to a black look for a hint at the trend. Neons are reminiscent of fluorescent 80’s fashion, and for those of us who’ve already lived through that, a repeat appearance may not be ideal. Just be thankful designers seem more optimistic this year, and looking towards a brighter future!
