Leave it to our girl Beyoncé to keep mum about her collaboration with NCLA. Early this morning, fans and beauty lovers were surprised to find four different sets of nail wraps on Bey’s site without prior warning (cue the gasps!). Lisa Logan, longtime manicurist to the singer, shared an Instagram of the nail wraps, all of which are inspired by her self-titled album.
The I Woke Up Like This wraps are plaid, the same pattern that appears on the shirts that she, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls and Chanel Iman wear in the “Flawless” video. The rainbow-colored neon-patterned wraps called Je Ne Sais Quoi seem to be inspired by all of the bright lights in her “Blow” video, while the No Rest In The Kingdom set reflects the singer’s infamous intricate mosaic-like bodysuits she wears for performances. The playful notebook-like scribbles on the I Come With a Side of Trouble wraps have the track list to her latest album written all over, along with her famous quote on the “Bow Down” track: “H-Town Vicious.”
In our eyes, Beyoncé can do no wrong and this collaboration seems like a no-brainer for the fashion and beauty icon. Check out the entire collection and be sure to purchase them before they disappear (because they will!).
