Our Favorite Beauty Looks From Fashion Month Fall 2021
Fashion Month Fall 2021 has run its course. Like the Spring 2021 season, the Fall 2021 lineup offered a mix of runway shows, lookbooks and videos. But the presentations still delivered major beauty inspo. New York, London, Milan and Paris provided dreamy hair and makeup looks perfect to try in the comfort of your own home or on Instagram. There were also Fall 2021 beauty options you can rock out in the real world.
Strong extended flicks around eyes was clearly the shape of the season. Searching for a lip color for Zoom or for when it’s safe to go out mask-free? Low-key neutral lips were a major player at many shows, like Etro and Max Mara. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Del Core embraced a statement-making glossy red.
Tresses were tousled to enhance natural texture, like at Courrèges and Coperni. Or gelled into a low ponytail or bun. (Both Erdem and Christian Siriano ticked multiple trend boxes.)

Simone Rocha Fall 2021
Makeup artist Lauren Parsons dubbed the no-makeup makeup look at Simone Rocha "cameo brooch" complexions. Combined with hairstylist Cyndia Harvey’s whimsical braided and twisted updos, it was one of the most romantic looks of the season.
Max Mara Fall 2021
The khaki eyeshadow courtesy of makeup artist Tom Pecheux was a standout of the season thanks to its sophisticated take on grunge.
Etro Fall 2021
Breezy hair with middle parts offered a more festival vibe thanks to two face-framing mini braids. The dewy neutral lip and smudges of black eyeliner couldn’t have been more spot on.
Versace Fall 2021
No one mastered high glamour as much as Versace with silky kerchiefs paired with exaggerated neon liner in shades of sky blue, shocking pink and fiery red-brown from Pat McGrath.
Laura Biagiotti Fall 2021
The logo hair clips at Laura Biagiotti are inspiring us to use initial barrettes to decorate our low ponytails.
Bora Aksu Fall 2021
We’re still swooning over the dark circle-concealing half flowers Janeen Witherspoon applied below models’ eyes. Not to mention Daniel Martin’s heavily gelled braided updos.
Giambattista Valli Fall 2021
The makeup at Giambattista Valli was either an elegant take on a natural face or dialed-up rainbow eyes. Odile Gilbert topped each hairstyle with a pearly headband.
Erdem Fall 2021
There was a ballet theme at Erdem. But rather than the traditional bun, hairstylist Adam Reed sculpted hair into low ponytails occasionally topped with white swan-like clips. The makeup was more Black Swan thanks to sweeping black negative space eyeliner.
Del Core Fall 2021
Glossy red lips were dressed down slightly with dabs of eye gloss and effortless hair.
Ports 1961 Fall 2021
No hairpins? No problem. Let the ends of your updo fly free to contrast the slicked-back front a la Ports 1961.
Coperni Fall 2021
Makeup artist Fara Homidi called the crystal-embellished eyes at Coperni "post-pandemic" glam. But they would look equally striking with a face mask.
Mark Fast Fall 2021
Those already living for the 2000s resurgence will welcome the silver eyes and high shine pink lip gloss spotted at Mark Fast.
Christian Siriano Fall 2021
Tired of sooty black eyes? Then you’ll love the supreme bronzed wings Maybelline Global Makeup Artist Erin Parsons created for Christian Siriano. The color was echoed in the statement hair clips that fastened select low braids.
Courrèges Fall 2021
There were several makeup looks at the Courrèges presentation, but the constant was woke-up-like-this hair. The undereye embellishment demonstrated the lasting appeal of Euphoria beauty.
Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2021
The pairing of gravity-defying updos with burgundy lips and nails was a little bit 20s and a whole lot of glamour.
