Patrick Demarchelier Photographs Vanessa Axente for Vogue Spain’s December Cover (Forum Buzz)

Vogue Spain is ending 2014 on a high note with its December cover. The magazine often makes a big fuss about December issues by enlisting a guest editor to contribute, but it appears as though the Spanish monthly has settled on an exclusive Patrick Demarchelier spread. Vanessa Axente stars on Vogue Spain’s latest installment wearing a black lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana, styled by Julia von Boehm. A classically beautiful cover image, right?

Our forum members are loving it! “It is gorgeous! Vanessa looks great – that hair is amazing. Last month with Edita and now this – Vogue España really grew on me,” complimented Srdjan, who got us off on a positive note.

“Gorgeous indeed, like the glove, it adds some delicate and chic,” added a satisfied Nymphaea.

Also sharing the same outlook was miguelalmeida, who wrote, “Vogue Spain has always surprising and great cover choices! LOVE IT! Vanessa looks every inch of a supermodel! Such class and poise! LOVEEE!”

Creative even went so far as to say, “First time in centuries they have a cover-worthy subject! Happy to see Vanessa.”

“It’s relatively safe, sure, but the cover itself is really gorgeous. I love the composition and it actually does feel relatively festive to me. Lovely December cover,” commented Moofins.

Benn98 was pleasantly surprised and shared his rave review: “What a nice surprise, not a bombshell for once! I didn’t think they’d be able to top last month’s bonanza. I’m glad the glove is in the shot, it distracts a bit because otherwise this would look like her Chanel ads. Based on the content I might get this, but it’s such a mission to get this from VS from newsagents.”
