As soon as the collection was shown in Milan, we already envisioned how the Dolce & Gabbana campaign would look. The Italian designers continue to stay true to their roots and give us a vision of family-oriented lifestyle in advertising. Although this time around, there’s a hint of Spanish culture infused in the photos with a bullfighter present and some flamenco dancing. The campaign even features some elderly women to give the concept a touch of authenticity. Models Bianca Balti, Blanca Padilla, Irina Sharipova, Vittoria Ceretti, Misa Patinsky, Travis Cannata and Xavier Serrano appear in the campaign, captured by Stefano Gabbana (yes, he’s shooting his own campaigns!).

Our forum members are currently debating the new campaign inside the thread. “Blanca? Glad to see Xavier too, he’s a total cutie. Oh, and now I realize the bullfighter is José Manzanares. They went for an all Spanish cast,” shared Creative, but went on to post, “I’m not even going to comment on the campaign.”
“Same old same old only this time the lighting is awful imo…I wonder how do they cast the older women? It would be nice if they’re the crew’s mothers or grandmothers,” asked kokobombon.
“Great casting, but yet, another repeat of past campaigns,” noted justaguy.
Also not showing much enthusiasm was quangthinh, who wrote, “Looks very amateur (as always).”
Although things started to look up. “I think my problem is the composition, and a better photographer would have fixed that. That being said, I love the cast and the theme, and that video is INCREDIBLE! Best Dolce campaign in a long time,” credited marsnoop2.
Forum member thatsfierce also appeared to be a fan: “I like a couple of shots. I think it is better than the older campaigns.”
