Many of the campaigns this season are questionable and obvious, so we were quite pleased to see the latest from Donna Karan. The American fashion designer tapped model Andreea Diaconu to showcase her Spring 2015 collection and enlisted Peter Lindbergh to make a triumphant return (his last campaign for the brand was back in 2007 with Hilary Rhoda). We think the German photographer is the perfect choice, so it should come as no surprise that we’re head over heels for everything, from the casting to the artsy backdrop.

Forum members were quick to descend on the thread when the campaign first surfaced. “This is amazing! Andreea never disappoints me!” praised john2elmejor, getting us off to a positive start.
“The backdrop is my favorite thing about it, but the whole thing looks nice. Andreea is a great choice for DK,” MyNameIs complimented.
Also full of praise was Nepenthes, who simply described the campaign as “Stellar!” inside the thread. “Flawless” was the word burbuja8910 used in regards to the campaign. It’s safe to say that we have a handful of admirers here!
Nymphaea later added: “Gorgeous concept!”
“She looks great imo. I wish the dress didn’t blend so much with the background but still, I want to see more!” shared an optimistic kokobombon, who was probably pleased when the full campaign surfaced inside the thread earlier today.
