Paris Jackson Lands Yet Another Cover, This Time for Harper’s Bazaar

Paris Jackson is certainly having a moment in the spotlight with her recent seal of approval from Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book. and a reported Chanel campaign in the works. Now, Paris graces the cover of U.S. Harper’s Bazaar. Following in the footsteps of the likes of Rihanna and Madonna, the daughter of Michael Jackson holds her own in the cover shoot, lensed by Jean-Paul Goude. Paris wears a black Ralph Lauren dress on the generic newsstand cover (below) and can be found leaping in front of the Eiffel Tower wearing a mixture of Christian Dior and Chanel on the more adventurous cover for subscribers (after the jump).

Unfortunately, our fourm members weren’t jumping for joy along with her. “Wow, this is so bad. Why is this girl getting covers? She looks truly awful time and time again,” anlabe32 disapproved at once.

“She looks terrifying. What an awful cover,” cried out an unforgiving mepps.

“Words cannot describe how bad that is,” ecclaimed jal718.

Tigerrouge wasn’t a fan either. “Who knew that Bazaar covers could get worse? Has Kate Hudson stopped speaking to them? Surely one of the usual suspects could have stepped in. I like the idea of someone different, but if the end result is a shot of what looks like a generic, strung-out girl, then I’d prefer to see their usual bland glamour,” she admitted.

Also finding the cover disappointing was zoom: “Deer caught in the headlights. Couldn’t her bookers give her some tips?! I mean it’s Bazaar but still – it’s a damn cover. Embarrassing for all involved.”

“This is horrible. Why would anyone put Paris Jackson on the cover of anything? Epic fail, Glenda Bailey!!!” hollered Handbag Queen.

“What on earth? Why would a Bazaar reader be interested in her?” Miss Dalloway questioned, echoing the same sentiments.

DutchHomme seemingly agreed: “Why her on the cover? Album coming up? Or just another celebrity kid star on the cover without good reason?”
