This May Be the Most Exciting Collab of the Year

If you want to get the fashion industry’s attention, start by mentioning Valentino and Fornasetti in the same sentence. The two power houses have joined forces this month on a limited-edition collaboration combining Fornasetti’s iconic surrealism with a splash of camo, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, and a hearty dose of “Valentino red.” Fornasetti x Valentino includes one item for each of the five senses—a serving tray, plate, scarf, stool and eyeglasses case—and will debut during a private one-night haute couture exhibit at the Whitney Museum of Modern Art this week. Items will be available to the public beginning December 11 at Valentino’s Fifth Avenue store.
