Embellishments, Monochrome and Lace Set the Tone at the Land Rover Discovery Sport Launch

The launch of the Land Rover Discovery Sport hit Sydney’s Royal Botanical Gardens last night, with Australian models, bloggers and sports stars stepping out to support BMW X3 and Volvo XC60’s brand-new rival. Scroll through below to see our favourite looks from the night, including moody ensembles, tough tailoring and luxe embellishments.

Land Rover ambassador Jennifer Hawkins went for a lace midriff-baring ensemble, teamed with black pointed-toe pumps. The cream underlay and black sheer sleeves added an element of difference to your typical matchy-matchy lace set, and she styled her hair, as always, in tousled brushed-over beachy waves.

Brooke Testoni was the master of layering in this tough-feminine monochromatic getup. She donned a panelled cross-over vest over a pleated and pinstriped midi dress, teamed with laser-cut booties and a black purse. Her bronzed makeup, polished brows and ruffled hair had the fashion blogger looking both fierce and stylish.

Sally Fitzgibbons dolled up for the night in an embellished high-neck mini and strappy T-bar heels. As the only surfer of the bunch, you’d think she would be the one with the tousled beach waves, but, unlike Brooke and Jennifer, Sally opted for polished curly locks.
