By now, we know Miley Cyrus doesn’t really need an excuse to take off her clothes, but this time around she’s disrobing for a good cause. Miley has been a champion of the #FreeTheNipple movement and she took her allegiance to new heights over the holidays when she posted a topless photo of herself with her nipples exposed in solidarity for the cause. The photo was very elegantly captioned, “Some lame ass deff gonna flag dat shit, but fuckk it #practicewhatchupreach #FreeTheNipple #freedatshit.” It was, naturally, taken down soon after it was posted.

Instagram’s policy against exposed women’s nipples has been a hot topic during 2014, which came to a head when Rihanna was booted from the social media outlet for having posted pictures from her Lui magazine cover shoot. Miley littered her Instagram with a deluge of images referencing the movement.
One notable image included a photo of a topless Barbie torso with Miley’s face, which she used to comment on the hypocrisy behind Instagram’s no nipples policy: “& without nipples Instagram (not their fault. it the pervy/horny ass/creepy mofos) won’t take yoooo shit down (why can barbies and statues show shit we can’t. I’m just sayinnnnnn dat dick statchhh is aggressivvvvvvve).”
Something tells us we’ll be seeing even more of Miley’s nipples in 2015.
