Ruffian S/S 2011

She’s strong, elegant, sophisticated, and knows a thing or two about luxury. The Ruffian woman is a force to be reckoned with, and this season she’s taking her fashion cues from military references. Plunging necklines and knee length dresses were highlighted by padded shoulder overcoats and wide-leg trousers. Soft nudes in leopard prints, dark charcoal greys, and olive greens in sultry silks created a rich color palette.

Models wore there hair slicked back with colorful shaded make-up showing that a girl who wears this collection means business.

While some looks didn’t quite translate as elegantly as designs in the past, these silk military jackets and sleek cocktail dresses will still have a few options for customers to add to their wardrobe.
