The Glossies: All the December 2014 Covers We Loved and Hated

Who would have guessed that L’Officiel Hommes Middle East would prove to be one of this month’s most notable covers? Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing was given the cover in a refreshing twist that served to spotlight one of the major behind-the-scenes players in the fashion industry. This isn’t the first time the mag has opted to feature a designer on its cover and we hope other glossies follow suit. Also worth noting is that despite this being the time for holiday covers, December was surprisingly low on red, green and sparkles all over. Here’s a look at the standouts.
