Trend: Gold Fever

Gold is the decadent, luxurious shade in high demand as a serious fashion trend for Fall 2010.

Metallics have been hot for a while, but gold has never been so prominent. It makes a strong statement, and leaves no doubts about breaking the bank.

Whether seen in a shiny gold leather jacket, a slinky gold gown, or a mini beaded dress in gold sequins, designers couldn’t get enough of the rare metal.

Seen mostly at dressy affairs, the material screams modern elegance, but can be paired with a little denim for a hip contrast.

Check out these runway looks for the gold looks that are sure to be hot next season.
