This week’s forum buys ran the gamut from jackets, scarves, shirts and dresses, to handbags and shoes. Read on for the results of our fashion foraging.
Among KamenKutak’s several summer purchases this week was this dramatic military-style blazer from Mango.
Eu-pt “couldn't resist this Breton striped dress. Have wanted one for a long time,” she wrote. This versatile dress looks like it was worth the wait.
“It's a good thing I faked sick in the middle of work today!” tiny laughed as she shared her vintage Hermès find. Let’s hope for her sake that her boss doesn’t read the Fashion Spot.
Esprit made a few Zara purchases, and among them was this pretty crochet-style tank top that can easily be dressed up or down.
Another purchase of KamenKutak’s was this nice lightweight scarf by Diane Von Furstenberg. This should contrast nicely with her new military blazer should she choose to wear the two items together.
Despite summer creeping up on us, caroulemapoule bought “another pair of Giuseppe Zanotti glitter boots,” to add to her collection.
When I realized that this pair of Jil Sander floral flats from my Shopbop wish list were on sale, I indulged in some early morning shopping and managed to snag the last pair in my size. As any shopaholic would justify, I decided that the purchase was meant to be.
Fellow Jil Sander fan, Ives927, found this bright blood orange Jil Sander Market bag. “I know it may seem a bit frivolous to spend any sort of money on something plastic, but all I ever use are tote bags and the one I have is all worn out. I know I'll make good use of this,” he wrote.
Ammarra may credit (or fault) Michelle Obama with inspiring and tempting her to buy this blue Reed Krakoff dress, but either way, she’s left with a great new addition to her closet.
Zarina added a couple new pairs of peep-toe pumps to her extensive shoe collection, one of which is the Ballin rhinestone silk pair shown above (the other purchase was a pair of brown suede YSL Palais 105 pumps).
